Lusovini creates Virtual Museum of Dão Wine

January 08, 2018

The history of wine in Portugal, and in particular in the Dão region, will be told through a virtual museum created by Lusovini.

The initiative will be launched on 10 January at the Museu do Teatro Romano, in Lisbon, in the presence of the Portuguese Minister of Economy, Manuel Caldeira Cabral.

The museum will have an educational component, telling the history of wine throughout the ages in the Mediterranean, Peninsular and Portuguese space. It will also be presented the Dão region, from its landscape, climate and soil to the origin of its demarcation.

After the virtual museum presentation it will take place a historical wines tasting, which aims to be a sensorial experience demonstrative of the wine life course.

Initially, the Dão Wine Virtual Museum website will be released in Portuguese and English. The third language, still in 2018, will be Mandarin and later French.
